QUIRK SHOT is a web game made at GameJam+ Startup Madeira 2026. It is run by Wolfgang Dafert, Rua Eng. By playing QUIRK SHOT you agree to these terms.
Playing
- All levels are free to play, as often as you like.
- Each browser gets 10 free remixes. A remix is a new level that our AI makes from a level you pick and a sentence you write.
- To stop abuse, free remixes are also limited per internet connection. On a shared network (school, venue, office) the free remixes can run out sooner.
- You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google or an email link to keep your remixes and credits across devices. An account is optional and free. Please keep access to your Google account or email safe, and use one account per person. We can close accounts used to abuse the game.
- You can rate levels with a thumbs up or down. Ratings help rank levels and remixes for everyone.
Buying remixes
- You can buy packs of remixes. The packs and their prices are shown in the game before you pay. Each pack is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
- The price is the full price. We are a small seller exempt from VAT under Article 53 of the Portuguese VAT code.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Your remixes are added to your account if you are signed in, or otherwise to the browser you bought them in, usually within a few seconds.
- Remixes do not expire while QUIRK SHOT is running. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except for refunds as described in the refund policy.
- As a guest, keep your browser data. Guest remixes are linked to an ID saved in your browser. If you clear your browser data, switch browsers or use a private window, the game can no longer find them. Sign in to keep them safe; your guest remixes move into your account. If they are lost anyway, email us your Stripe receipt and we will restore them.
- If a remix fails, the game gives that remix back automatically.
- If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before buying.
Your remixes and sharing
- Remixes you make are public: anyone with the link can play them, and we may show popular ones to other players in the game, with play counts but never with your name or email.
- Other players can build their own remix from the sentence you wrote.
- After you share a link, we may ask you two short questions. Answering is optional.
- Do not write anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or that names real private people. We check every sentence and every new level automatically, and we remove remixes that break this rule.
- You give us permission to store, show and share the remixes you make, inside QUIRK SHOT and when we present the game. The game, its levels and its code stay ours.
- AI makes mistakes. A remix may not look or play the way you asked.
Our service
- QUIRK SHOT is a new jam project. It can change, pause or stop, and it can have bugs and downtime.
- If we stop selling remixes or shut the game down, we refund the unused part of any pack bought in the 90 days before.
- We are liable under Portuguese and EU consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.

- Portuguese law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the consumer protection of the law of that country.
